One of my {many} favorite parts of my job is watching the families grow through out the years.  I started photographing this family a year & a half ago & have loved every minute.  Big sister has so much spunk & personality it is contagious.  I *heart* her smile & love for her dollies (red & purple).  Now since little sister arrived AKA her mini-me I get to see the family in action as a family of 4.

Venessa & Mike had a beautiful wedding weekend downtown Chicago with close family & friends.

They started off the weekend with the Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner @ Market {on the rooftop}.  It was a perfect evening & the Chicago skyline & amazing light that night made for some great images.

They were also celebrating her Grandfather’s 90th birthday that evening.  V & M surprised him with a Mariachi band & WOW did they put on a great show.

We started off the Wedding day @ The Four Seasons downtown.

The ceremony was held @ the amazing Cafe Brauer (Lincoln Park Zoo)

I have a special place in my heart for little kids with their fingers in their nose’ especially on a wedding day

I spent the morning with Liz & Tim in Milwaukee for their Engagement session.  I can’t really say much more than we had a BLAST.  We started out @ the  Milwaukee Art Museum & then worked our way to the Historic Third Ward & ended our day @ Miller Park.

Liz & Tim LOVE their chuck taylors AND they have custom ones made for their wedding day.  I can NOT wait to see them.

Thank-you Mr. Skateboarder #1 & Mr. Skateboarder #2 for letting us crash your “space”.

Umm.  Really there is no words to describe.  This is one fantastic couple.

Liz & Tim explained to me earlier that morning that she was a Cub fan & he was a Brewer fan & they wanted to do a “shot” with their respective team shirts.  So I suggested that we go to Miller Park & see if we can get in the stadium… Shot in the dark, but hey?!? Well thanks to a sweet lady name Leslie @ the Gift Store we were able to get in.  I must say it was pretty amazing to be in that big huge EMPTY baseball field, just us.  {moral of the story:  if you have an idea GO FOR IT, it just might work.}

Some of my favorite shots of the entire session.   Thanks again Leslie.  I’ll look for you next weekend when I’m there, your THE best.

Then to make the day complete we all purchased some tickets for the year.  {go cubs.} We’ll see you @ the game next weekend!

Devin was so good during his 7 month session!  I’ve been photographing his family since his older sister was about his age & it has been a pleasure to watch them grow up.  He was like a little model & was just game for anything!  Enjoy the sneak peak Mom & Dad

I had a wonderful time  photographing Ehaan’s first birthday party in Madison Wisconsin last weekend.  His family & friends were So. Much. Fun & it was a blast to hang out with them while they celebrated with great good, friends & even a fun party magician!  Thanks for the lunch, the food was amazing & enjoy your sneak peak!

Ok so I have to explain this cake.  They celebrated every ‘month’ birthday & those were all the cake-toppers from the ‘month birthday’ cakes from Ehaan’s first year.  Such a creative idea.

The magician was amazing!  He had everyone involved & the kids loved him – especially the balloon animals afterwards!
