So here is the rest of the sneak peak for my ‘earthy momma’ from yesterday.  We started out @ the library & worked our way to a local farm.  I had a great day photographing this fun family.  Enjoy the sneak peaks & happy weekend.

Michelle, Brady & our pile of balloons loaded up the mini-van {yes I said mini-van} & headed out early Saturday morning for our Engagement Session.  I was so excited when Michelle e-mailed me a few weeks ago to suggest that we use Balloons during their upcoming engagement session.  Who was I to argue with such a cute idea?  So you can imagine the look on my face when we parked @ our first location & I opened the gate & out flew our two bags of balloons ?!?! Both Michelle & I went running & screaming after them.  Thank GOODNESS there were some trees/shrubs that caught both bags of balloons.  I was seriously about ready to cry.  But moving forward we had a fantastic morning & we had a great little drive around the outside of Janesville/Beloit/Shopiere.

LuLu came into the studio & was determined to not fall asleep.  Which was just fine because she has the most beautiful eyes & cute little dimple.  With two older brothers @ home I guess she probably figures she has to show everyone that she is indeed the boss.  Thanks E for bringing her down congrats again on your little girl!  Enjoy the sneak peak & see you soon!  {S. Over the past few weeks I’ve come across some really great photography-related quotes & readings.  I wasn’t really sure how or where I was going to fit them into my BLOG & I just decided to do a random BLOG posting with some of my favorite quotes & an image that I particularly love, although not perfect, I just keep going back to it.  I’m not sure really why, other than to me it really represents what I do, photographing a family @ whatever stage it may be:  family waiting for that baby, a family adding to, or even perhaps an older married couple celebrating years of marriage.  I don’t take for granted what I am so VERY BLESSED to be doing, not for one minute.  I love my clients, I love that they invite me into their homes, lives & little quirky details so that I can freeze some of these special moments for them to look back on years to come.  I thank God that he allowed me the opportunity to pursue my dream & I am so thankful to my husband & children who have been my biggest cheerleaders.  {love you mr. nick, gabe & lulu}.

I’ve been photographing Anika now for a little over a year & she was definitely @ her maximum spunky level this time around.  I think she tired out mommy & daddy.  Although having a 1 month old baby brother could have something to do with that too!  I loved seeing her wonderful personality & beautiful smile.  Thanks for playing & hanging out ms. A & I will tell your parents to buy you a ladder for your 2nd birthday
