BOY or GIRL

Which will it be?

This momma & dad-to-be decided to find out & keep it a BIG ‘OLE FAT secret from everyone.

I give them a lot of credit for keeping that secret from their loved ones.

I may or I may not know….

The night before our session, C & E were in the emergency room.  Everything was totally fine with little baby “peanut”.  It was Christy who needed to be seen.

She was absolutely determined to get her wedding ring back on for the Maternity Session, well she got it on alright, but it ended up turning her fingers/hand blue & off they went to the E.R. in the middle of the night.  Luckily they were able to cut the ring off & actually C was able to slip it on during our session still.

Also a big HUGE thanks to daddy-o for going out to get the bag of peanuts, mid-session.

I had a blast getting to know you both & I look forward to welcoming that little

GIRL or BOY peanut into your lives, really soon.

Sweet Baby Girl Ellen

Recently when asked what one of my favorite things to photograph was, I quickly answered : births.

To accurately describe the love & emotion that is present @ that time is next to impossible.  I love capturing that, I love being around it & love documenting it.

Particularly for this family it was very important to have a very pleasant birth experience & documenting the first few moments as a family of four.

Many times for mommy’s {& daddy’s too} you are so much in the moment that taking photos is the farthest from your mind.  You’ve been waiting 9 LONG months to meet this new person & all you want to do is stare at their beautiful face.  Especially for c-section mommies documenting a birth can be helpful because I was able to go with daddy into the nursery & document those moments so that mommy isin’t missing out.
