Megan & Andy | Engaged | {Janesville Wisconsin Wedding Photography}
{Megan & Andy}
We decided to brave the cold weather & do a combination engagement session. We started at my downtown studio & left from there to a few different locations around Janesville.
I love hearing about how couples met & I love Megan & Andy’s story. They met long ago in grade school & “dated” briefly. He broke her heart. {tsk tsk Andy} They went to school together, Megan’s mom taught them both. I actually heard through the grapevine that Andy may or may not have had a small itsy crush on her mom in grade school.
Moving on, they re-connected later on & well, as they say… the rest is history.
They are a cute, adorable couple that you can tell has a lot of fun with each other.
It was my pleasure to spend the morning with you both & getting to know you! {thanks again for the coffee}
I look forward to photographing your wedding this August!
Enjoy the sneak peeks

They had A LOT of fun with my silly glasses on a stick.

Love this blue wall, hope they NEVER paint over it.

This little shadow idea was ALL Andy.
It isin’t your typical “guy” thing, but I thought it was adorable.

Thanks for sitting on the cold, snow-covered ground for this shot, you guys were troopers!

Andy is a Police Officer & I was thinking through out our session how I wanted to shoot the “ring shot” & I asked if he had his badge.
Sweet, thanks.
The little blue State of Wisconsin circle worked perfectly to hold the ring in place.

Kaleigh & Jaryd {Chicago Illinois Engagement & Wedding Photographer}
Jaryd & Kaleigh were able to get inside Wrigley Field for a portion of their Engagement Session in Chicago Illinois.
We started mid/late afternoon & being as though Jaryd had previously e-mailed WF & asked permission to shoot inside he was not giving up. He went in & spoke with someone & with a small dontation to the Chicago Cubs charity we were able to photograph inside for approximately 45 minutes. It was fantastic. I think we all were giddy with excitement. Whether you are a Chicago Cub fan or not, you can’t help but think this stadium is absolutely beautiful!
It was a great way to kick start a fantastic e-session in Wrigleyville.
Thanks to the Chicago Cubs for helping us out that day!
After we left WF we walked around the area & even hit up the L-train nearby.
Fun people. Fun textures. Fun times.
We just simply could not help but laugh when we were with K & J. They are so cute together. Laughing, making jokes & having lots of fun together.
Thanks for being up for anything & sitting on the dirty dirty floor whenever we asked.
We can’t wait for your wedding this December!
Enjoy the sneak peeks!

Love it.

I imagined this shot when we were inside, in my head & this is exactly what I imagined. It feels so old fashioned to me.

I think K just got done making fun of J here for answering his phone, mid session. Sorry J, you deserved it

Absolutely, hands down FAVORITE of the day.

Another fabulous ring shot by Michelle b.

Nor really sure what I said here, but I love the reaction nonetheless

We thought about eating a snack here, but it was too busy.

Kaleigh, shut your hair in this shot. It is fantastic. {props to the train going by up above}

Good times.

Love the look that J is giving the Ice Cream man as he passes by here…

{again a big fat HUGE thank-you to the super rad second shooter :: michelle b.}
Chris & Crystal {Chicago Illinois Engagement & Wedding Photographer}
Shut the sliding glass door. These two are frick-frackin’ adorable.
We had a BLAST shooting Chris & Crystal’s engagement session in Wrigleyville.
We started out fairly early in the morning & walked around the area surrounding Wrigley Field & found some amazing colors & textures, even a beer truck.
After trying very hard to get inside of Wrigley, we decided a Roof top view would do & WOW was it amazing to be up there & look down @ Wrigley Field.
We had a great day & ended with a wonderful lunch @ Vines on Clark st. {thanks again Chris & Crystal}
Enjoy the sneak peek & have fun in Las Vegas
s. {natale}

BTW they look this cute, naturally. AHHdorable.

This is what happened to get this next shot.
Us : walking down the street by Wrigley, in front of Bar Louie, passing by a beer truck
Dudes in the front seat of the truck : “What’s going on here?”
Me: “Oh, an engagement, why? Do you want to let my clients sit in the back of your truck?”
Dudes: “Oh, for sure, hold on a minute…”
Now who said Illinois people were not friendly?

Super fabulous shot done by the super fabulous Michelle b.

Starting to shoot around Wrigley, good ‘ole Harry Caray

Their fav # is 21

I think my favorite image from the day

OK so we were not able to get in to Wrigley Field, but while we were shooting around the outside Michelle happened to notice that one of the rooftop buildings behind Wrigley was offering FREE tours. Who were we to ignore that? So we toured this fabulous building & our first stop was in the middle & was this fabulous, uber-modern suite with 25+ flat screen tvs & fabulous furniture & it appeared to have it’s own kitchen.

After we cooled off in the suite, we continued upstairs to the top & this was our view :

Then as you went to the very top & near the back, this was the view.
Love Chicago. Love this shot. Love C & C

Another great shot by Michelle, in front of WF

{Have I mentioned how much I am in LOVE with my Fish Eye lens?}

{{ A big huge THANKS to my wonderful wonderful second shooter Michelle B. I had a BLAST shooting with you, your the bestest }}
Jessie & Jon :: {surprise} Get Married {Janesville Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}
Jessie & Jon | August 14, 2010 | Engagement Party / Wedding & Reception | SURPRISE
I first met Jessie & Jon a few months ago when she contacted me about photographing her “Engagement Party”. She informed me that they were going to have a Destination Wedding but wanted to throw a big Engagement party ahead of time instead of a reception afterwards. Once she officially hired me as their photographer for the day she let me in on the BIG secret surprise that very very few people were aware of :
They were actually going to be getting married that day!
I was SO excited & pumped to be apart of such a fun event. Both Jessie & Jon wanted to have a fun, low-key event that they could celebrate their love for one another amongst their closest friends & family. I can’t believe they were actually able to hold this little secret in!
We started the day at Jessie & Jon’s house as they were putting on the final touches. It was super sweet to capture those moments with the two of them prior to their wedding. This opportunity doesn’t present itself very often, so when it does it’s a lot of fun!
We had almost 2 1/2 hours prior to the start of the festivities at Prairie Woods. That allowed us some time to drive around in my Mini-Van (incognito) to a few different locations to shoot some amazing Bridal portraits! Thanks for sweatin’ it out with us guys!
Also, who ever said Mini-van’s are just for soccer moms? They come in handy when you want to hide your wedding clients from suspecting guests!
When we arrived at Prairie Woods Jessie & Jon immediately went into hiding downstairs while we waited up stairs with the guests. It wasn’t long before people were starting to ask us if we had seen Jessie & Jon & the whispers started as to why they were late? Where were they?
Approximately 6:00pm, the DJ announced that he had received a phone call from Jessie & Jon & that they decided to call of the Engagement…..
….Because they were getting married today!
At that moment everyone turned to the back & saw Jon & Jessie arrive on a golf cart & enter the reception! The looks, sounds & remarks were priceless! They did it, they pulled off the surprise & it was worth it!
Jessie & Jon then went directly into their wedding ceremony & the evening progressed into a fun wedding reception for all of their guests!
Thanks again Jon & Jessie for having us along to document this special day! You were absolutely fabulous to work with!
Enjoy your sneak peeks & be sure to stop by our Natale Photography Facebook page to view the Wedding Fusion DVD Slideshow

The beautiful Bride.

Jessie had told me on several occasions how much she LOVED caffeine. She said, if she could she’d have it pumping into her through an iv.

How often does a Bride help get her future husband dressed on their wedding day?

The following two shots are from my fabulous second shooter :: Michelle b. Absolutely love love LOVE this one. Favorite of hers from the entire day.
{So glad we had her climb up top that steep hill to get these shots, totally worth it, great job MB!!}
Welcome to the Tallman House in Janesville. In my opinion, it is an up & coming treasure. I love the grounds & the inside is even more amazing. Hoping that they will open up to host small weddings and receptions there soon.

The venue looked beautiful. Check the old-fashioned microphone, love it.

Here is one of their first moments after the big SURPRISE was revealed to their guests

The Mom’s reactions ::

J & J, went right into their ceremony. Overlooking the golf course.
Another fun capture from the fabulous Michelle B.

Michelle & Brady had an amazing day for a wedding.
PSA :: If you are looking for a drop.dead.gorgeous. church with breath-taking light = First Congregational Church in B-town (as us natives call it)
M & B had a super fun engagement session too {click here to see that BLOG} & I enjoyed getting to know them both better. I love doing engagement sessions prior to their wedding day because it really gives us an opportunity to get used to everyone’s crazy, silly personalities.
We started off @ Rumor Style Lounge just around the corner from my studio. Man is that place adorable. Check it out.
Then we headed to B-town to the church. Michelle B & I were highly impressed with this beautiful church – the sweet soft light is a photographers dream. For sure.
We were able to get some really great shots inside the church after the ceremony & around the area outside. We headed to the Rock after that so the Bridal Party could enjoy a few cocktails!
Then we headed off to the Eclipse Center & yowzers did that look beautiful! Best Events Catering {Janesville, Wisconsin} did a wonderful job decorating & the food was delish!
We had a fabulous day with you M & B. Your family & bridal party were a blast to work with!
Enjoy the sneak peaks

Lindsey & Eric :: Best Buy Engagement {Janesville, Wisconsin Engagement & Wedding Photographer}
Lindsey, Eric & their three little pups had a perfect morning for an engagement session! Man these little guys had a TON of energy. L & E were so cute with them though & I’m glad we were able to include them because I know that they’ll miss them on their wedding day!
When we were discussing the Engagement Session & the location where we would shoot I explained to L & E that I like my Wedding clients to do a little homework & really think about their relationship, where they met, how they got engaged, some of their favorite things to do. What would define them as a couple?
It is pretty common for couples to say “we don’t have anything…” or “we aren’t very exciting”… but surely after awhile they are bound to think of something good!
Lindsey & Eric did not disappoint. They knew they wanted to include their pups because they are getting married in the Wisconsin Dells in just a few short weeks & they won’t be able to accompany them on their wedding day for photos. They also explained to me that Eric has a LOVE for Best Buy. {little did I know exactly how much love they were talking about}. His love for electronics, gadgets, tvs etc. Lindsey was totally up for the challenge & Best Buy in Janesville was very kind to allow us in.
I had a great morning with you guys & can’t wait for your wedding in a few short weeks!

{{PSA for photographers :: always carry an extra necklace & pair of bright blue high heels in the back of your car, just in case you need them one day for an engagement session…}}

Insert Pyscho Face Here ::

So when we walked in the door of Best Buy, the lady that stands there in the front recognized Eric!! We told her we were there for their Engagement Session & she said “Oh yes, I recognize you, you come in like every week…” So cute. Loved it. I knew right then, it was the best decision to shoot there for part of the session!

Brand spankin’ new 3D tv. L & E looking good with the 3D glasses.

Love. This. Shirt.

Stephanie & Rafael | Married {Rockford Illinois Wedding Photographer}
Stephanie & Rafael were married in Rockford Illinois on a very hot June day.
This wedding boasted some very unique details from the Groom & Groomsmen’s slick attire to the meaning of the cardinal brought in by the bride’s tatoo & also the one pinned in on her bouquet.
It has been a pleasure to work with S & R over the past year with their engagement session & then their wedding! Which I think turned out fabulous!
Thanks for having us apart of your day & can’t wait to hear about your honeymoon in Aruba!
Enjoy the sneak peaks
