Hailey Belle & her parents came into the studio last weekend for her 6 month session {approximately}

I love watching parents interact with their little ones, and Heidi & Mike are such loving/doting parents.  It was so cute to watch.

I love love LOVE the bond between a father & his daughter, it’s just so amazing.  Mike I hate to tell ya, but you better be saving up for that BMW now

This was her first visit to the studio & she did so well with all of her outfit changes & crazy ideas that her mommy & I had.

I traveled to her home for the newborn session {click here to see} so it was fun to have her in studio for this session!

I’ve known Hailey’s momma for several years now.  We went to college @ Bradley University & lived at our Sorority house the same year.  Thanks to Social Media {read : Facebook} we’ve stayed in touch & I was so honored to hear from her when she asked me to photograph her soon to be born baby girl.

Sweet baby Stella came in @ almost 6 weeks old & was a little doll.

We were able to capture her both sleeping & awake.  She has thee most beautiful eyes.  Like her parents.

Mr. Liam turns ONE.

Ahhh this little man is so stinkin’ adorable.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Liam & his big sister Anika for the past several years & these children are ALWAYS full of smiles & their mommy brings the cutest outfits which is a bonus!

This time was no different, we had a great time & Liam was such a trooper for his many outfit changes.

But it did pay off in the end when he got to eat his Birthday Cake!

BIG BOY = walking!  He was SO proud of himself.

Picked up this cute little hat when I was @ WPPI in Las Vegas & paired it with a sweet pair of “penny loafers”

Once he got into it, he LOVED it.

Michelle & Michael had a wonderful snowy day for their big maternity {REVEAL} session.

Many of you may recognize Michelle, she is my 2nd shooter for many of my weddings & a super fabulous gal.

I was so excited to do this session for her & her hubby.

So we knew that we wanted to do some sort of {REVEAL} session & Michelle did a lot of planning & asking for help prior to.

She purchased pink & blue balloons & had those ready to go, depending on the results.

Here is the timeline breakdown :

1.  Ultrasound appt on Thursday morning

2.  Technician filled out form & put the results in a sealed envelope

3.  Envelope & pink/blue balloons were delivered to Michelle’s sister Samantha Thursday evening

4.  Samantha opened the envelope & began the process of blowing up several PINK balloons for our session the following morning

5.  We all met early Friday morning & the balloons were brought over in black garbage bags by Michelle’s amazingly helpful sister

6.  We started our session…

I had a blast planning & shooting this session M & M.

Before we started the session, I asked M & M what their guess was.

Obviously they were BOTH wrong.

IT’S A GIRL!

This was the first time they found out the sex of their baby when they looked up & saw the balloons released into the sky!

How fun & excited!

I literally was getting goosebumps while I was photographing it!

After the balloon release we headed over to the Apple Hut in Beloit.  We actually photographed part of M & M’s engagement session here a few years ago.

En route to the studio to finish up our session we ran across this fabulous “pink construction” wall.  They were happy to let us borrow it for a few minutes.

So this ADORABLE little note was what Michelle prepared prior to their U/S & gave it to the technician to fill out & put in a sealed envelope.

The envelope was then delivered to Michelle’s sister Samantha who helped out greatly in the making of this session.

She opened the envelope & blew 40+ pink balloons the night before our session & put them all in black garbage bags & brought them down early that morning.

Thanks SO much Samantha for your help in the cold for those few hours, your the best!

I love PROPS on sticks.  Fabulous.

It never gets old.  Photographing babies.

How could it when I have sweet little babes like Maizy come into the studio & just put on a show for the camera.

She was SO fabulous during her outfit changes.

Maizy’s mommy & daddy won one of my Facebook give aways & the session has been in the works for awhile now.

{so, if you aren’t a fan/like the page, you should do so because I tend to do a lot of give aways!}

We decided to schedule their session once Maizy was sitting up & I’m glad we waiting because she just rocked her session out.

Sweet little baby Tate

Oh he wasn’t super pleased with the idea of his Baptism day.  But with the help of his mommy, daddy, family & friends he made it through.

It was an honor for me to photograph Tate’s baptism at St. William Catholic Church in Janesville.

I spent saturday morning at the {R} home in Janesville, Wisconsin.

It was fun to get to know mom & dad & photograph Ella in her own surroundings.

Ella had one of THEE most beautiful nursery’s I’ve seen in awhile.

Momma {& daddy} have some pretty wonderful decorating taste, which makes my job easier.

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, I absolutely LOVE my job.  I love that I get to meet fabulous people, wonderful families & many times clients that I’m lucky to eventually call friends.

Spending time with them in their home & creating some beautiful lasting images that they will hopefully cherish for a very long time = LOVE.

I like that some days I’m shooting in the studio & some days I get the opportunity to photograph at a clients home, on-location or @ a park.

I love the thrill of walking into a new environment, the challenge of the changing light, the different location & wanting to create thee best images possible for my client.

Mr. Sterling came to the studio last week & had an agenda of his own.

This little 18 month old, is a smart smart cookie & is quite the entertainment.

I look forward to seeing how much he has changed for his 2 year session, coming up this summer!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for the past two years, starting with an Engagement session, through their wedding & watching Sterling grow up.
